Are you kidding? PETA supports BSL (breed specific legislation). Do you know what they do with BSL in Denver? They (animal control) goes house to house and searching for dogs that are or even *look like* pitbulls, then they take them while the children scream for their beloved pets, and then they kill them. PETA supports this. PETA also kills dogs and cats and leaves them in dumpsters behind grocery stores. They are a pathetic organization have nothing to do with helping animals.

PETA is also opposed to lifesaving medical research which happens to use animals, has compared farmers to serial killer Jeffrey Dahlmer, has openly called parents who feed their children meat and dairy products "child abusers", passed out an anti-fur pahmphlet to children as young as six branding their parents "animal killers", with bloody and gory imagery to back it up, and given financial support to the Animal Liberation Front (ALF) and Earth Liberation Front (ELF), both of which are considered by the FBI to be domestic terrorist groups.

Don't get me wrong, I abhor animal abuse and praise people who are working to stop it, but I cannot support an organization which holds as extreme a philosophy as PETA.

God bless you It angers me that people think Peta is JUST about veggies, well its not. I myself LOVE a good steak. just as long as the animal is not abused. I will post this in my journal A.S.A.P.

My Cousin and I belong to a group that rescues animals from abused homes. My Cousin Theresa then provides foster care for these doggies until a suitable home can be found for them. This is a beautiful stamp, and I would love to use it in my ShoutBoard, if there is no objections.

do some non biased reseach, peta has some nice ideas, but their acts speek differently. you'd be surprised of how many animals they've killed vs. the homes they've found for the animals
